The addition of a seven-person advisory team expands Wells Fargo’s wealth management assets by over $1 billion in South Florida.
Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network’s Merritt Point Wealth Advisors added a seven-person team overseeing $1 billion in client assets from Truist Wealth Management. The Palm Beach-based group includes four executive managing directors and three support staff, all previously with Truist for nearly a decade.
The move strengthens Merritt Point’s footprint in South Florida, bringing its total locations to seven across four states. Wells Fargo has actively expanded its advisor network this year, including a recent $1.7 billion team transition from RBC Capital Markets.
The firm is also preparing to launch a fee-only RIA channel by year-end, pending advisor feedback. The new team cited cultural alignment and operational support as key factors in the transition.
