South Korea’s largest crypto exchange expands offerings with euro-backed stablecoin pairs for KRW, BTC, and USDT markets.

Upbit will introduce EURC trading pairs against the South Korean won, Bitcoin, and Tether. The move marks the exchange’s expansion into euro-denominated stablecoin markets, aiming to facilitate seamless euro value transfers on blockchain networks.

EURC is a fiat-backed stablecoin pegged to the euro, designed to provide stability and liquidity for digital asset transactions. Upbit, South Korea’s dominant crypto exchange, has not previously listed EURC pairs, signaling a strategic push into broader stablecoin adoption.

The addition of these pairs could enhance trading volumes and accessibility for users seeking euro exposure in crypto markets.
