Analysts forecast Uber’s revenue and adjusted EPS to rise 13% and 23% year-over-year, respectively, as user metrics hit record highs.
Uber will release its second-quarter earnings on Aug. 5, with analysts projecting 13% revenue growth and a 23% increase in adjusted EPS. The company’s monthly active platform consumers reached 199 million in Q1, up 17% year-over-year, while total trips climbed 20% to 3.6 billion.
Despite a 20% decline in its stock over the past 12 months, Uber’s gross bookings and subscriber base expanded, driven by suburban growth, overseas markets, and Uber Eats. The company’s Uber One subscription service now has 50 million members. Concerns over affordable ride rollouts and competition from robotaxis have weighed on sentiment.
Uber’s enterprise value stands at $145 billion, trading at 13 times this year’s adjusted EBITDA, with analysts expecting 12% revenue growth and 29% EBITDA expansion for 2024.
