The agreement leverages Trip.com’s platform to promote Tasmanian travel products across Asia-Pacific markets for one year.
Trip.com Group (NASDAQ:TCOM) and Tourism Tasmania signed a one-year memorandum of understanding to boost international tourism. The partnership, announced at the Envision Conference in Shanghai, aims to enhance visibility of Tasmanian accommodations and attractions on Trip.com’s platform.
The collaboration builds on prior initiatives in 2022, expanding marketing efforts into the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Data-driven campaigns and staff training will support the promotion of Tasmania’s nature-based and cultural experiences.
Trip.com operates a portfolio of travel brands, including Ctrip and Skyscanner, offering a one-stop platform for global travelers.
