The ETF, launched March 30, 2026, holds SpaceX via an SPV and diversifies across global space-sector firms.
The Tema Space Innovators ETF (NASA) has surged 33% year-to-date, driven partly by anticipation of SpaceX’s upcoming initial public offering. The fund holds SpaceX through a special-purpose vehicle and may acquire shares post-IPO, though its performance depends on broader space-sector exposure.
Launched on March 30, 2026, the ETF primarily invests in publicly listed companies but also targets pre-IPO opportunities. Its portfolio spans space exploration, satellite technology, and related industries, with 66% of holdings in U.S. firms and allocations in Canada and Japan.
SpaceX represents only the ETF’s fourth-largest holding, with Rocket Lab (10.3%) leading the portfolio. Industrials account for 52.4% of assets, followed by information technology (19.3%) and communication services (18.1%).
