SpaceX secures contracts at $45-60 billion per gigawatt for AI cloud services, far exceeding typical $12-15 billion industry rates.
SpaceX is reshaping the economics of AI cloud services by securing deals at three to four times the industry standard rate. Contracts with Anthropic and Google reportedly reach $45-60 billion per gigawatt, compared to the typical $12-15 billion range for neocloud agreements.
Most competitors rely on long-term offtake agreements to finance infrastructure, but SpaceX, Meta, and Oracle leverage deep capital reserves to bypass this constraint. The company’s reusable spacecraft and satellite broadband operations underpin its AI platform, which includes computational infrastructure and the X information network.
While SpaceX’s financial firepower enables premium pricing, analysts note that other AI stocks may offer greater upside with lower risk.
