Skeena Resources reports increased cash burn in Q2, driven by higher operating expenses and environmental work costs.

Skeena Resources Limited (SKE:CA) reported a GAAP loss of $0.28 per share for Q2 2026, reflecting ongoing operational expenses. The company’s net cash used in operating activities rose to $15,057,000, up sharply from $1,685,000 in the same period last year.

The surge in cash outflows was attributed to higher accounts payable and increased spending on community relations and environmental initiatives. Hydro-geotechnical work for groundwater monitoring contributed to the elevated costs during the quarter.

No immediate market reaction was disclosed in the release.
