QDTE’s weekly distributions fell to $0.19 per share in 2026 from $0.35 in 2024 due to lower volatility and option premiums.
The Roundhill Innovation-100 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (QDTE) has seen its weekly distributions decline to $0.19 per share in 2026, down from an average of $0.35 in 2024. The drop stems from reduced volatility, which has compressed option premiums collected by the fund.
QDTE’s trailing 12-month yield stands near 48%, though this figure is misleading as the underlying NASDAQ-100 (QQQ) has outperformed it year-to-date, returning 16% versus QDTE’s 12%. The fund’s strategy involves selling zero-days-to-expiration call options against synthetic NASDAQ-100 exposure, with recent payouts at $0.24 per share as of July 1, 2026.
As of March 2026, QDTE held $798.9 million in net assets, with 90% tied to derivative positions replicating the NASDAQ-100. The remaining collateral is invested in government obligations and short-term Treasury ETFs.
