Power Metallic Mines Inc (TSX-V:PNPN) has appointed Christopher Beal, former CEO of NextOre, as vice president of operations. Beal will lead the company’s high-grade Nisk polymetallic project through critical development phases, including a preliminary economic assessment and feasibility study.

Beal previously grew NextOre from inception to a $131 million market capitalization, raising $17.9 million across four funding rounds. His background includes operational and engineering roles in copper, nickel, and gold projects across Australia and Canada, as well as corporate advisory experience at RFC Ambrian.

CEO Terry Lynch stated Beal’s appointment is expected to derisk the Nisk project and support a positive development decision. Beal is slated to transition to COO by late 2026 or early 2027.
