PepsiCo posted second-quarter non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.20, missing estimates by $0.01. Revenue reached $24.18 billion, up 6.4% year-over-year and $230 million above expectations.

The revenue growth was driven by 2.4% organic growth, a 2.2-percentage-point boost from foreign exchange translation, and a 1.8-percentage-point net benefit from acquisitions. The company’s net revenue increase aligns with prior guidance but falls short on profitability metrics.

Markets are likely to focus on the earnings miss amid strong revenue performance.
