Ouster’s stock jumps after securing long-term sensor production and supply agreements for autonomous vehicles and industrial equipment.

Ouster (NASDAQ: OUST) shares climbed 28.68% on June 29, pushing the stock near $55, as the lidar company announced expanded manufacturing and partnership deals. The rally extends a year-to-date gain of 142%, with trading volume surging above average levels during the move. The 52-week high was set at $54 earlier in the same period.

The gains follow a 10-year manufacturing partnership with Benchmark Electronics to produce over 100,000 Rev8 OS digital lidar sensors annually. Ouster also signed a multi-year deal with AIM Intelligent Machines to supply Rev8 native-color lidar for autonomous heavy machinery in mining, construction, and defense sectors.

The AIM agreement targets retrofitting equipment with autonomy kits that operate offline, addressing challenges in remote locations. The deals focus on industrial, robotics, and smart infrastructure markets, reinforcing Ouster’s growth strategy in high-resolution lidar applications.
