Nio shares rise after launching ES9 SUV
Nio has launched its ES9 SUV, starting at 390,000 yuan ($57,470) under its battery subscription model.
The launch comes as China’s electric car market faces intense competition, with sales of new energy vehicles dropping 17% in the first four months of the year.
The ES9 is Nio’s largest SUV in China, with deliveries starting immediately.
