Marvell Technology now derives 76% of its revenue from data centers, up from 74% in the prior quarter. The company reported $8.7 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue and a $162 billion market valuation, with data center sales driving the concentration shift.

Management projects data center revenue to rise 50% in fiscal 2027 and 55% in fiscal 2028, following a 46% increase in fiscal 2026. Other segments, including communications, contributed $585 million in Q1 2027 but are expected to grow at single-digit rates, reinforcing the data center segment’s outsized share.

The reliance on a single end market is tied to a small group of cloud providers, whose spending patterns dictate Marvell’s revenue mix. Slower growth in non-data center segments suggests the 76% share may expand further.
