Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) stock has risen over 550% in the past year, driven by new chip partnerships and U.S. government support. President Donald Trump converted prior funding into a 10% equity stake last August, boosting investor confidence.

The company secured deals with Nvidia ($5 billion investment), Google (AI chips), Elon Musk (chip-fab project), and Apple (chip design). Intel Foundry reported $5.4 billion in Q1 revenue but posted a $2.4 billion operational loss. Yields on its 18A process remain below margin targets.

Bank of America upgraded Intel to Buy, citing manufacturing progress and AI demand growth. The stock’s rally reflects optimism despite ongoing operational challenges.
