Geospace Technologies’ unit wins a sole-source deal to deploy underwater seismic-acoustic sensor systems for the Navy.

Geospace Technologies announced its subsidiary, Quantum Technology Sciences, has been awarded a $10.8M sole-source contract by the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division. The agreement extends through the end of fiscal 2027.

The firm-fixed-price contract falls under the Small Business Innovation Research Phase III program. It covers deployment of the company’s Seismic Acoustic Detection and Ranging Underwater System, utilizing proprietary passive seismic-acoustic sensor technology.
