Fox buys Roku at $160 per share
Fox Corp has made a $22 billion cash-and-stock deal to acquire Roku, giving it access to over 100 million streaming households.
The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027, with Roku founder Anthony Wood joining Fox’s board.
Fox is funding the cash portion through $12 billion in new debt, which may change the risk profile of the company.
The acquisition is expected to generate $400 million in annual cost synergies and free cash flow accretion.
