EOSE announces a 100 MW/400 MWh battery order for Texas, advancing its 2 GWh reservation agreement with Frontier Power USA.
Eos Energy Enterprises (NASDAQ:EOSE) received its first purchase order under a 2 GWh capacity reservation with Frontier Power USA. The order supports the Redbird project, a 100 MW/400 MWh battery energy storage system in Texas’s ERCOT market.
The Redbird volume counts toward the 2 GWh reservation and fulfills nearly half of a separate 1 GWh supply agreement with Bridgelink. Eos also highlighted a 12 GWh development pipeline across major U.S. power markets, including ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, and MISO.
The company designs and manufactures zinc-based battery storage systems for utilities, renewable developers, and industrial users, addressing growing demand for grid reliability and renewable integration.
