Eaton’s Q2 revenue surged 21% year-over-year to $8.53 billion, beating estimates and lifting its full-year sales forecast.

Eaton reported second-quarter revenue of $8.53 billion, up 21% from a year earlier and above the $8.13 billion analysts expected. Adjusted earnings per share rose to $3.15, surpassing the $3.07 consensus estimate, marking a record for the quarter.

The company raised its full-year sales outlook, citing stronger-than-expected contributions from a recent acquisition. Earlier concerns about AI hardware demand had weighed on shares, but Eaton’s results eased fears of a broader slowdown in data center spending.

Shares climbed following the release but trimmed gains later in the session as broader market pressures, including rising bond yields, took hold.
