Stanley Druckenmiller’s Duquesne Family Office sold all Alphabet shares and increased holdings in Micron, Sandisk, and Seagate in Q1.
Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller’s Duquesne Family Office sold its entire 385,000-share stake in Alphabet during the first quarter. The move coincided with a shift into three memory and storage stocks: Micron Technology, Sandisk, and Seagate Technology, according to regulatory filings.
Druckenmiller’s average holding period is roughly eight months, suggesting the Alphabet sale may reflect profit-taking. Alphabet, part of the “Magnificent Seven,” had been a high-performing stock, while memory and storage stocks surged in the quarter.
The 13F filing deadline for institutional investors with over $100 million in assets marked May 15, revealing portfolio changes for prominent money managers. Druckenmiller’s moves are closely watched following Warren Buffett’s retirement.
