Cisco has become a major beneficiary of AI infrastructure spending, with its order book accelerating quickly. In April 2026, the company disclosed that it booked roughly $2.1 billion of AI infrastructure orders from hyperscalers in a single quarter.

The company’s AI order target for fiscal 2026 has been raised to more than $5 billion, driven by products such as Silicon One networking silicon and AI-specific switching and security products.

These revenue streams are increasingly bookings based, often from a small number of very large customers that plan capital expenditure multiple years ahead, making revenue more predictable.
