LON:CCR reports EUR 70.5 million operating profit for FY 2026 as distribution revenue falls 8% amid sector headwinds.
C&C Group posted a 9% drop in operating profit before exceptional items to EUR 70.5 million for the fiscal year 2026, driven by weaker hospitality market conditions. Revenue declined 6% year over year, with distribution revenue falling 8% due to lower volumes and product mix challenges, while branded drinks revenue rose 4% to EUR 310 million.
The company’s operating margin remained flat at 4.5%, as margin expansion in branded drinks offset declines in distribution. Branded drinks operating profit increased to EUR 51 million from EUR 46.1 million, with margins improving 1.1 percentage points to 16.5%. Distribution operating profit fell to EUR 19.5 million, reflecting ongoing sector pressures.
Management acknowledged progress on strategic priorities but noted the business lacks resilience to fully counter hospitality headwinds.
