Bitget CEO Gracy Chen predicts BTC will remain within $10,000 to $20,000 of current prices by year-end amid macroeconomic sensitivity.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen expects Bitcoin to finish the year near its current trading range, citing its deepening ties to traditional finance and broader macroeconomic conditions. She forecasts BTC could end $10,000 to $20,000 above or below present levels, calling this a “more responsible” outlook.
Chen also expressed skepticism about the U.S. government purchasing additional BTC for its national reserve before 2026. While the Trump administration established a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve in March 2025, she noted that active purchases would require significant political debate despite the administration’s crypto-friendly stance. The U.S. currently holds 328,372 BTC, mostly from seizures rather than direct acquisitions.
The CEO’s comments follow a recent Bitcoin rally that lifted crypto-related stocks, including miners and treasury firms. However, she warned that macroeconomic factors could still weigh on BTC’s price trajectory in the near term.
