The building products maker lifted full-year forecasts following 6% Mineral Fiber AUV growth and 9% Architectural Specialties expansion.

Armstrong World Industries raised its 2026 guidance after Q2 earnings outperformed expectations in a flat market. Mineral Fiber average unit value (AUV) grew 6%, driven by demand for high-end acoustical tiles, while Architectural Specialties saw 9% organic growth across transportation and education sectors.

The company reported a 45% EBITDA margin in Mineral Fiber, supported by operational efficiency despite input cost inflation. Management cited digital initiatives and portfolio integration as key growth drivers, with volume expected to rise 1% for the full year.

Guidance increases assume muted market conditions but reflect confidence in execution and strategic positioning.
