Bill Ackman’s hedge fund disclosed a $1.12 billion position in Visa, marking its largest new bet in financial infrastructure.
Pershing Square Capital Management, led by billionaire investor Bill Ackman, revealed a $1.12 billion stake in Visa Inc. in its latest 13F filing. The position, comprising 3.27 million shares, represents 5.4% of the fund’s portfolio as of June 29, 2026, making it one of its largest holdings.
The filing also disclosed new positions in Mastercard ($1.09 billion) and S&P Global ($1.06 billion), totaling over $3 billion in combined exposure to financial infrastructure. These bets reflect Ackman’s high-conviction strategy, with all three positions initiated in the same quarter.
Visa, Mastercard, and S&P Global now rank among Pershing Square’s top holdings, alongside established names like Uber, Microsoft, and Amazon. The move signals confidence in the payments and financial data sectors.
