AbbVie will acquire Apogee Therapeutics in a $10.9 billion cash deal, paying $135.11 per share. The transaction aims to strengthen AbbVie’s immunology portfolio and clinical presence in respiratory diseases, including asthma and atopic dermatitis.
The acquisition includes Apogee’s pipeline of clinical-stage candidates targeting immunological and inflammatory conditions. Both companies’ boards unanimously approved the deal, which is expected to close in Q3 2026 pending shareholder and regulatory approvals.
AbbVie, a pharmaceutical firm focused on chronic disease treatments, will integrate Apogee’s assets to bolster its long-term growth in immunology and respiratory therapeutics.
