In its fiscal fourth quarter, FedEx’s core Federal Express segment grew revenue by 14% and adjusted operating income by 13%, supported by strong pricing, improved mix, and growth in higher-value B2B markets. Network 2.0 initiatives and cost reductions lowered the cost to serve, while capital spending fell to a historic low of 4% of revenue.

Longleaf Partners Fund highlighted FedEx’s improved focus and cash generation, noting the company’s ability to convert earnings into free cash flow as a key driver of performance.
