Zurich Financial Services Australia has finalized its takeover of ClearView Wealth, paying A$0.60 per share in cash. The transaction, structured as a members’ scheme of arrangement, values the deal at approximately A$385m, or $275m in USD terms.

The acquisition received approval from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, ClearView shareholders, and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Zurich initially announced the agreement in February, targeting ClearView’s life insurance and wealth management operations.

ClearView, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, reported A$436m in in-force premiums as of December 31, 2025. Zurich plans to integrate ClearView’s ClearChoice product with its existing offerings, expanding its retail life insurance portfolio.
