WTI oil stays near $83 after Fed holds interest rates
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil prices remained steady near $83 per barrel after the Federal Reserve decided to hold interest rates constant.
The price consolidation comes after recovering sharply from an intraday low near $78.90.
WTI trades at $83.48, with a mildly bullish near-term bias as price holds above the 20-period Simple Moving Average (SMA) at around $82.32 and the 100-period SMA near $80.15.
