Woodberry Packaging has acquired UK packaging manufacturers Medica Packaging and FG Curtis, which trades as Curtis Packaging.
Financial terms of the deal were not revealed
The move strengthens Woodberry’s foothold in Europe, expanding its capabilities in pharmaceutical, healthcare and personal care packaging. Both companies will continue trading under their existing brands and management, preserving continuity for staff, customers and suppliers. The expanded group employs 650 people across the UK and Ireland and generates combined turnover of more than €120m ($137m).
Backed by Dublin-based Woodberry Capital, Woodberry Packaging has grown through acquisitions across Ireland and the UK. Medica specialises in pharmaceutical and healthcare cartons while Curtis adds expertise in cosmetics and personal care packaging. Medica Packaging’s owner Medication Packaging acquired FG Curtis in 2022.
