UK home improvement retailer Wickes reports £483m quarterly revenue, driven by higher customer volumes and market share gains.
Wickes Group posted a 2.3% increase in second-quarter revenue to £483m, marking a return to growth in its retail division. Like-for-like sales rose in both design and installation (D&I) and retail, with the latter rebounding after a 1.7% decline in Q1.
First-half revenue reached £865m, up 2.1% year-on-year, supported by a 0.6% like-for-like increase. The D&I division reported a 3.8% revenue rise to £117m, its fifth consecutive quarter of delivered sales growth, while retail revenue grew 1.8% to £366m.
The company attributed growth to higher customer numbers and deflationary pricing, alongside market share gains. TradePro loyalty scheme membership rose 9% to 671,000, with digital channels and Click & Collect up 7%.
