Westlake posted Q2 2026 net income of $260 million, or $2.01 per share, on $3.3 billion in sales, compared with a $12 million loss in the same period last year. EBITDA rose to $679 million, driven by higher Performance and Essential Materials pricing and $150 million in year-over-year cost savings.

The company’s profitability plan remains on track for a $600 million full-year 2026 target. Housing and Infrastructure Products sales grew 8%, though margins slipped to 22% due to lower prices and higher costs. Westlake also lowered its 2026 HIP outlook amid weaker residential construction expectations.

Capital expenditures were held at $900 million, and a recent German PVC and VCM plant acquisition is expected to boost earnings in 2027.
