Walmart now delivers to 60 percent of the U.S. population in 30 minutes or less, a milestone highlighted during its earnings call. The company’s Express Delivery option averages under one hour, driving customer satisfaction to record highs in Q1.

Expedited delivery sales grew more than 50 percent year over year, while units shipped via Walmart Fulfillment Services for third-party sellers jumped 150 percent. Store-fulfilled delivery sales have more than doubled over the past two years, with 36 percent of orders delivered in under three hours.

The retailer leverages its 4,600-store footprint to bridge last-mile gaps, improving delivery speed by 800 basis points over two years. Growth in same-day and next-day shipments exceeded 3.5 billion units in the quarter.
