VinFast signs deal with Gowa Motor Group to open 30 new EV showrooms in Indonesia, targeting 150 outlets long-term.
Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast has agreed to form a joint venture with Indonesia’s Gowa Motor Group to expand its battery electric vehicle sales network. The partnership aims to open at least 30 new showrooms and service centers in the initial phase, bolstering VinFast’s existing 40 outlets in the country.
The deal is part of VinFast’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia’s growing EV market. The company plans to expand its network to over 150 outlets long-term, offering vehicles, aftersales services, and customer care aligned with global standards.
VinFast’s Southeast Asia CEO Antonio Zara stated the collaboration leverages Gowa Motor’s local expertise to accelerate market penetration. Indonesia is seen as a key market for EV adoption in the region.
