Vertiv’s new digital twin system aims to optimize power, cooling, and workflows for AI factories before deployment, addressing scalability challenges.
Vertiv Holdings Co (NYSE:VRT) announced progress on a production-grade digital twin capability for its SmartRun platform, integrated with NVIDIA Omniverse DSX Blueprint. The system allows simulation and validation of power, cooling, and controls for AI factory infrastructure prior to build-out, addressing scalability constraints in high-speed interconnects and dense accelerator clusters.
The digital twin is the first phase of a multi-phase roadmap to align accelerated compute innovation with physical infrastructure readiness. Vertiv also introduced PurgeRite NearZero, a fluid management service reducing water consumption by up to 78% and discharge costs by 34% in data centers.
The developments highlight Vertiv’s focus on AI-driven infrastructure demands, positioning it as a key player in the sector’s growth.
