Company cites $68 million Q1 revenue, up 30% year-over-year, as NexoBrid procurement drives growth.
Vericel Corporation raised its 2026 revenue forecast to a range of $326 million to $336 million, citing the start of BARDA-backed NexoBrid procurement in the second half of the year. The update follows a record first-quarter performance, with revenue exceeding $68 million, a 30% increase over the same period last year.
The company had previously guided for lower revenue but outperformed expectations in Q1 2026, driven by strong demand for its advanced wound care products. NexoBrid, a burn treatment, is expected to contribute significantly to growth as government-backed orders begin.
Management attributed the outperformance to operational execution and market expansion, reinforcing confidence in the updated outlook.
