VanEck trims its crypto infrastructure ETF holdings, emphasizing power and compute sectors after June’s digital-asset selloff.
VanEck reduced its NODE ETF portfolio from 64 to 58 holdings, adding distributed-power firm INNIO (NASDAQ: INIO) and fintech SoFi (NASDAQ: SOFI). The move follows a June selloff in digital assets, where the fund outperformed spot crypto due to its infrastructure-focused strategy.
The firm exited smaller miners and industrials, citing completed investment theses. NODE’s resilience during the downturn reinforced VanEck’s focus on power and compute infrastructure as a durable crypto exposure. INNIO, which debuted on Nasdaq on June 4 at $27.00 per share for 90 million shares, aligns with this theme.
VanEck stated the pullback provided an opportunity to consolidate positions around high-conviction assets, though it did not disclose specific exits.
