The US dollar weakens against the Swiss franc, with the USD/CHF pair retreating toward 0.8100 after failing to hold above 0.8136. Despite a weekly gain of 0.3%, caution ahead of the US Nonfarm Payrolls report limits further upside.
Analysts expect July’s payrolls to rise by 65k, up from 57k in June, though still below recent moving averages. Private payrolls are also projected to increase by 65k, compared to 49k previously, signaling a gradual slowdown in hiring.
Switzerland’s SECO Consumer Climate Index improved slightly to -35 in Q3, but the franc shows minimal reaction. Technical indicators suggest fading bullish momentum for the dollar, with support tested near 0.8100.
