The Swiss Franc weakens against the US Dollar as markets price in near-term Federal Reserve interest rate increases.

The USD/CHF pair climbed 0.15% to 0.8082 as demand for safe-haven assets declined following a Middle East ceasefire announcement. The Swiss Franc underperformed against most major currencies, particularly the Japanese Yen.

S&P 500 futures rose 0.6% to 7,535, reflecting a broader risk-on sentiment. The US Dollar Index (DXY) edged 0.1% lower to 99.70 but remained stronger against the Swiss Franc amid expectations of Federal Reserve tightening.

Market participants anticipate the Fed will raise interest rates soon, supported by strong underlying US economic activity, according to analysts.
