US Treasury yields climbed modestly as geopolitical tensions with Iran weighed on sentiment. The two-year yield rose 2.19 basis points to 4.282%, while the 10-year yield increased 1.2 basis points to 4.640%. The move follows remarks suggesting heightened accountability for Iran, though markets remain cautious ahead of a 20-year bond auction later today.

Major US indices showed mixed performance, recovering from deeper premarket losses. The Dow gained 240 points, or 0.46%, while the S&P 500 added 2.52 points, or 0.03%. The NASDAQ, however, slipped 62 points, or 0.24%, after dropping 250 points earlier in premarket trading.

Crude oil prices advanced $2.60 to $86.94, nearing its 100-day moving average at $89.47. Support held at $86.13, the midpoint of the recent downtrend, after a brief dip to $86.14.
