NASDAQ index rises 0.91% to 26917.4
The major US stock indices closed at record levels, with the NASDAQ index rising by 0.91% or 242.74 points to 26917.4.
The S&P index and the Dow industrial average also rose, by 0.58% and 24.98 points respectively.
The small-cap Russell 2000 increased by 0.57% to 2936.56, with top gainers including Snowflake, Dollar Tree, and Best Buy.
