US proposes 10% tariffs on 60 countries over forced labor
The US has proposed tariffs of at least 10% on imports from around 60 countries.
The move is in response to forced-labour practices and aims to reconstruct the country-by-country tariff regime.
China, India, Japan, and others face a higher proposed rate of 12.5%.
The levies are not immediate, with written public comments due by July 6 and hearings beginning July 7.
