US spot Bitcoin ETFs are on the brink of net outflows for 2026 after six consecutive days of losses. Institutional demand has softened, with Jane Street slashing its holdings by 70% and Goldman Sachs reducing its position by 10% in Q1.

BlackRock’s IBIT remains the outlier, attracting $2.7 billion in net inflows this year, though this trails the $25 billion it amassed in 2025. Most competitors have seen outflows or stagnant demand, while Ether and altcoin ETFs report net outflows.

The Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust ETF (MSBT), launched April 8, has gathered $264 million, surpassing older products from Invesco and WisdomTree. Market expectations for a Trump-linked Bitcoin ETF have dimmed after its sponsor withdrew multiple crypto filings.
