UPS reported Q2 earnings of $1.76 per share on $22.8 billion revenue but warned of flat domestic growth ahead.
United Parcel Service Inc (UPS) posted second-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.76 per share, topping estimates of $1.66, while revenue reached $22.8 billion, above the $21.84 billion forecast. The company raised its full-year 2026 outlook despite weaker near-term domestic expectations and restructuring charges.
UPS’s US Domestic segment grew revenue 6% year-over-year to $14.9 billion, driven by a 9.3% rise in revenue per piece. However, management projected flat domestic revenue for Q3, with average daily volume expected to decline mid-single digits. The International segment saw revenue climb 12.5% to $5.04 billion but operating profit fell to $623 million from $672 million a year earlier due to higher fuel and network costs.
Shares fell 6% as investors focused on the subdued domestic outlook and margin pressures, overshadowing the earnings beat and raised guidance.
