The drone maker reported a GAAP net loss of $7.8 million as it scales operations amid strong enterprise and defense sector growth.

Unusual Machines posted Q2 2026 revenue of over $16.7 million, a 687% year-over-year increase and 107% sequential growth, driven by enterprise customers contributing 95% of sales. The company recorded a GAAP net loss of $7.8 million, or $0.16 per share, compared with a $0.32 loss in the same period last year.

Adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to approximately $400,000 from $1.6 million in Q1, though rising expenses and rapid hiring weighed on profitability. The company ended the quarter with $229 million in cash, $86 million in short-term investments, and no debt, but warned of margin fluctuations as it expands manufacturing capacity.

Management projected Q3 revenue of $12 million–$14 million and Q4 revenue of $25 million, citing expected demand from U.S. defense drone procurement and counter-drone markets. Shares rose on broader sector momentum linked to Pentagon funding considerations.
