The equipment rental firm boosts full-year guidance after Q2 demand and large projects exceed expectations.

United Rentals raised its 2026 revenue outlook to a range of $17.5 billion to $17.8 billion, up from prior projections, while adjusting its adjusted EBITDA forecast to $7.975 billion-$8.125 billion. The update follows stronger-than-anticipated demand and accelerated growth in large projects during Q2 2026.

The company’s previous guidance was not disclosed, but management noted the upward revision reflects robust market conditions and operational execution. CEO Matthew Flannery highlighted the positive momentum, calling 2026 “on track to be a great year.”

Shares of URI showed limited immediate reaction in after-hours trading, as investors digested the revised targets.
