Agri-food investor Unigrains acquires minority share in Haricaman as the firm targets €50m in sales by 2026.
Spanish cereals group Haricaman has secured a minority investment from agri-food investor Unigrains, though financial details remain undisclosed. The family-owned business supplies private-label cereals, flours, and breadcrumbs to retailers and industrial clients across Spain.
Haricaman, led by CEO Nicolás Rodríguez Cuéllar, aims to expand its breakfast-cereals segment, launch new product lines including rice and legume crackers, and enhance gluten-free offerings. The company plans to build two new manufacturing facilities and projects sales exceeding €50m ($57m) by 2026.
Unigrains recently exited its investment in Spanish convenience-food maker Ñaming and has previously backed Italian bakery group L’Albero del Pane. The firm praised Haricaman’s industrial expertise and innovation capacity.
