UBS increased indie Semiconductor’s price target by $0.50 while maintaining a Neutral stance amid a pending acquisition of OSRAM’s CMOS sensor unit.
UBS lifted indie Semiconductor’s (NASDAQ:INDI) price target to $4.75 from $4.25 on May 8, reiterating a Neutral rating. The adjustment follows the company’s announcement of a definitive agreement to acquire OSRAM’s fabless CMOS image sensor group for 40 million euros.
The acquisition includes 35 million euros in cash at closing and a 5 million euros vendor debt note. The deal targets high-performance CMOS sensors for automation, industrial, and AI applications, aligning with indie Semiconductor’s ADAS and multimodal sensing strategies. Regulatory approvals are pending, with closure expected in Q3 2026.
