Uber’s indicative offer values Delivery Hero at €1.7 billion, 1.76% below its latest closing price.
Uber Technologies has made an indicative offer of €33 per share to acquire Delivery Hero SE, the Berlin-based food delivery company. The bid, disclosed in a regulatory filing, values Delivery Hero at approximately €1.7 billion, a 1.76% discount to its last closing price on Friday.
Uber recently increased its stake in Delivery Hero to 19.5% of issued capital, including a 5.6% interest via call options. The move follows a €270 million purchase of a 4.5% block from Prosus in April 2026, though Uber had previously stated it would not exceed the 30% threshold triggering a mandatory tender offer under German law.
Delivery Hero confirmed it will continue its strategic review, which includes reported interest in selling its Baemin unit. The company will provide further updates if appropriate.
