REalloys leads North American rare earth magnet production push after Beijing tightens export rules targeting 2027 U.S. commercial plans.
REalloys is rebuilding North America’s rare earth supply chain in response to China’s new export restrictions. The company has integrated heavy rare earth feedstock, separation, metallization, alloy production, and magnet manufacturing over the past two years.
China’s curbs specifically target U.S. plans to launch commercial rare earth magnet production by 2027. The move follows Beijing’s broader strategy to retain control over critical mineral processing, which supplies 80% of global rare earth materials.
The development marks a shift toward domestic sourcing for U.S. defense and clean energy sectors, reducing reliance on Chinese supply chains.
