Tyson Foods posted a 9% year-over-year increase in adjusted earnings per share to $0.99 for fiscal Q3 2026, as higher average selling prices offset a 2.8% volume decline. Total sales remained flat at $13.9 billion, with a 3.4% price increase countering lower demand amid constrained cattle supplies.

The company’s beef segment reported a $138 million operating loss, prompting Tyson to lower its full-year beef outlook to a $500 million–$650 million loss. Adjusted operating income reached $547 million, a 3.9% margin, while segment operating income rose $18 million to $779 million. Tyson maintained its full-year adjusted operating income guidance of $2.1 billion–$2.3 billion and free cash flow expectations of $1.3 billion–$1.7 billion.

CEO Donnie King highlighted the quarter as the 12th consecutive period of meeting stated objectives, though leadership will transition to incoming CEO Jeff Schomburger. Strong performance in chicken, pork, and international operations helped mitigate beef segment challenges.
